She read the notice once, twice, before mulling over who the shadows were. Once upon a time he felt sorry for the dying bat. Its little legs were crushed by a sharp-edged rock and its squeals of pain sent shivers through him. The sounds led him into a cave, where all of the bat’s brethren had flown out, unable to help. He stood over it, watching his shadow encompass the body of the small creature. She remembered the first day minute by minute. He was lost. She was found. Her hero. In her world there was no such thing as gray, a lack of color was unheard of. Wow... okay... hello! It's been a bit. So this journal will be kind of a personal update, in regards to why I've been offline for so long and my plans for the next three months or so. As you might probably know, because I'm a little more open on my DA than I am on my FFN account, (which has also been very inactive for much longer than this account, but people still leave reviews so I'm glad to see I made some kind of a following) I've been applying to a bunch of colleges over the fall and winter in hopes of getting into at least one. And np! I actually saw that you're trying to work on an animation for a fan fiction and kinda sorta so am I, so I did some snooping and thought about giving an audition to the casting call thing but I settled on watching you instead.
